Desaru Trip

abt time i write abt the desaru trip with the girls.. though nothing much to write abt cos it was just a 2 day 1 nite affair.. and heck there's a whole lot of photos! but then again.. that's wat u get when u put 5 girls on a trip together.. CAMWHORING! muahaha~ so expect photos and more photos... interestingly, we took abt a mth to decide on the destination, intially we wanted to go tioman for 3 days, but due to work committments, it had to be shortened.. but still, i had a bloody good time at desaru.. being friends with them for so long (5 years?), its my first time travelling with them, and i would say it wun be the last.. anyhowz, it feels great to just leave everything behind and go on a trip with a bunch of close frens.. feels like we're still in those care free days at poly.. sighzz... okok, stop being so emo already..

so the morning of 16 July, me and viv set off to clementi to get a ride from coney's parents to changi ferry terminal.. and as USUAL, our dear vivien was late.. *rolls eyes* a bit worried we would miss the 10am ferry.. but traffic was good to us, we reached there just in time for boarding..

after 30min travelling time, we stepped foot on desaru soil and arrived at pulai beach resort at abt 11pm.. the resort was ok i guess, the room was bigger than expected, the service was great.. for the price we were paying, cannot hiam liao lor.. kekeke...

after dropping our bags, the next thing on our minds was to EAT! took the shuttle bus down to their so-called town to get food.. yeah, Restoran Bahteramas serves cheap and good food, not fantastic but good.. and it seems that the place has more cats than ppl.. winine and kacee were like freaking out each time a cat goes near them, which is like once every 5mins.. wahahaha~ so after filling our stomachs, we entertained ourselves by taking cheesy photos and videos while waiting for the bus to pick us up..

after all that craziness, we went back to the resort for a swim first while waiting for the rain to stop.. fancy raining before we did any activities! hmmph! so after awhile, the rain finally decided to stop and we headed to the beach for some jet skiing.. woo-hoo! everyone was pumped up for it, putting on the life jackets and wowing abt the waves.. and oh my god, it was so hard to get on the thing! the strong waves coming in was impossible and i suffered a few dunks and yewk, gulps of seawater! blerggh~ after the whole ordeal, all 5 of us got onto the jet ski.. and that was when all hell broke loose.. the jet ski sped on so fast against the waves, water splashing on those sitting at the back, namely me and viv.. the water was stinging my eyes and i could barely open them to appreciate the vast sea.. and ya, our screaming, bawling and oh-my-gods can put any scream queen to shame.. we took turns to drive the thing, and when it was winnie's turn behind the driver seat, she was monstrous at it! i was hanging on to my dear life, viv was in a screaming mode, coney was throwing up her lunch and kacee was, ermm... tired from screaming? too bad we didnt haf a camera to capture everyone's expression, it would haf been cra-zee~ so the 20min torture finally ended and we went back to shore and had another quick swim before heading back to our rooms to wash up..
immediately after dinner, we went for the firefly tour at some ulu ulu place.. the bus ride was kinda creepy cos if u turn back, u would find tt u're the only passenger in the bus cos its too dark to see anything else! so blah-blah-blah, we set off on a boat and find ourselves in a magical land (wow, so drama) couldnt believe that there really are so many fireflies around! cos i always tot its just a gimmick ppl use to attract tourists.. so those little things were mostly found amongst the trees, lighting it up like its xmas.. though a few brave ones found their way onto the boat.. and some of us actually caught it in our hands! so exciting! we were gg "zhe li, zhe li, bu shi, bu shi! zai na li, na li!" hahahah.. i noe the fireflies are really pretty, but we got bored soon and started to camwhore.. muahahaha..

anyway, i was actually more enchanted by the countless stars overhead, absolutely beautiful.. its nice to immerse yourself in nature and be surrounded with beautiful things once in a while.. but u noe, the tour would haf been perfect without the mosquitos.. someone shd be selling repellent there. so the 30min tour ended and we hopped on the bus back to the resort for some real fun - mahjong! since there was 5 of us, 4 played and 1 went to slp.. and it was the bday girl who chose to slp.. wat convenience.. ya, viv's bday falls on sun and we had planned to celebrate it in desaru.. i noe we're kinda overaged but how could a bday celebration go without some naughty pranks?

the evil plan was executed with perfection.. a bit overboard, but u noe we love u viv.. *winks* and oh ya, for future reference, snow sprays are courtesy of our beloved coney.. haha.. hmm.. guess those are the main highlights of the trip.. nothing much the next day, just more photo taking at the beach and yet another cheesy video..

ok, tt was more than i intend to write.. and needless to say, i had a wonderful time.. so girls, where's our next destination?
